About Campus

Ramnagar Campus is located in Ramnagar Tehsil of Udhampur District. Ramnagar is situated about 40kms west of Udhampur on the left bank of Kud River in mid Himalayan Range. This Campus started functionality in the year 2007 with two PG Courses MCA and MA Sociology. The Campus is well connected through road and rail. It is hardly 3.5 km from Ramnagar connecting with pacca road that leads to Kaghote. The shortest route to Udhampur. The site for Ramnagar Campus of university of Jammu is selected by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Varun Sahni of University of Jammu with the full support of Former Education Minister M.L.A Sh. Harshdev Singh adjoining the bank of Dalsar Lake. The tourism department has proposed a project of six crore for development of Dalsar Lake area for the promotion of tourism and to provide the water supply nearby areas.
